Viking Shield 61cm – a round 61 cm diameter shield that complements a Viking man or woman costume, or can be used as a standalone handheld accessory for a Norse warrior look.

The shield is made of 100% plastic, making it lightweight to carry and hold in your hand throughout an event. Its seamless round design allows it to be used both as a personal costume accessory and as an independent Norse-themed prop for a photo shoot or stage performance.

Historically, Vikings used round wooden shields in combat – they were a warrior's primary means of defense in battle as well as a mark of their identity, as shields were often painted with vibrant patterns that allowed a warrior to be recognized from afar. This plastic model is adapted for modern dress-up, making it significantly lighter than the original wooden shield and suitable for holding all evening without fatigue.

Care

To keep your costume in shape and preserve its colours and decorative details, please follow these care rules:

Do not machine wash or hand wash.
Do not bleach or use bleach-based products.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.

How to clean the costume?

Remove light dirt from the surface only. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent. Do not rub the fabric hard or soak it.

How to remove sweat marks and odour?

After wearing, turn the costume inside out. Gently wipe the armpit, neck and other areas that touch the skin with a well-wrung damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent. Then wipe with a clean damp cloth and let it dry completely in a well-ventilated place.

After each wear, air the costume well before putting it back in the wardrobe.

Avoid vinegar, baking soda, alcohol-based products, strong stain removers, disinfectant sprays and steamers, as they can damage the fabric, print, glued or decorative details.
